Event Registration Policies
Pre-Registration Options: We are pleased to offer Acteva, PayPal and Thriva payment options for each of our events. The Acteva option is for community members who pre-register early, by Fridays at noon the week before an entrepreneur event, and by the day before at noon for executive events. For those who would like to register after that time, there is the PayPal option, which charges the higher non-community rate. On-site registration and registration for specific events, like our Funding Road Trip Series, and for corporate passes for our When She Speaks series, is available through Thriva. Pre-Registration Deadlines: Online registration closes at noon the night before for a Tuesday-to-Friday event (our When She Speaks and Transitions and Funding Road Trip events) and on Friday the week before for a Monday entrepreneurs' forum. Please do not ask for pre-registration rates when you are registering on-site or when you are registering after the announced deadline. Thank you. On-Site Registration: Limited on-site registration may be available for a fee of $40 for entrepreneur events and $40 for When She Speaks events. We process on-site payments through Thriva. We strongly encourage pre-registration to ensure we have space for you at the event. Privacy Policy: A confirmation e-mail will be sent at least a couple of days prior to the event, and will include the contact information of the pre-registered attendees, if permission is gained to share it. A follow-up note will also be sent out following the event, with an updated contact list. You are welcome to forward follow-up notes to interested others in your network, but out of respect for other attendees, please do not forward the attendee list and contact information, as they have agreed to share it only with the event attendees, and not necessarily to the larger group. Cancellations and Refunds: Although we do not offer refunds, we are pleased to transfer your ticket to another event within 30 days of the ones for which you have a ticket, or to another professional. We appreciate it if you would inform us at your earliest convenience if you are no longer able to attend so that we can plan our food and space accordingly. Money-Back Guarantee: If for any reason you are unhappy with the quality of the program, we will refund your attendance fee, and welcome your feedback on how we can make it better for you next time.
Professional Standards for Event Attendees
Consistent with its mission to support high-integrity, high impact professionals, FountainBlue encourages all attendees to adhere to the highest professional standards. We ask that you do the following to support these standards, which benefit us all:
Registration: Please pre-register for FountainBlue events to help us better manage the registration process and to ensure an appropriate amount of space and food for everyone. Please let us know if you have registered and are no longer able to make it. Arriving at the meeting: We respect everyone's time by starting and ending our meetings on time, so please plan accordingly. Please notify us prior to the meeting if you need to arrive late or leave early, and if you must be delayed due to unavoidable circumstances, please enter the room with the minimum of disruption. Dress Code at the meetings: Business casual is fine, but show your professionalism, good sense and good judgment by dressing in a professional manner. Cell Phones: Please set your cell phones to mute so that it does not interrupt our conversations at our events. If you must take a call during a meeting, please quietly excuse yourself to take the call. Extraneous Conversations: Please refrain from extraneous conversations, as it is disruptive and discourteous to the presenters and distracting for others.
Honor System: If an event has started and no one is there to assist you with on-site registration, we ask you to leave your card with us so that we can bill you following the event and so that we can include your information in the follow-up notes, and send the notes to you. If you do attend and do not pay for the event, or deny attending an event when you were there, we ask that you please pay for the event you attended before attending another event. Thank you for your cooperation. Tell, Don't Sell Policy:
We encourage everyone to network and connect with others, and tell others about their products, services, company, passions, etc., But there's a fine line between telling and selling and we hope that all our event attendees will respect that fine line. No Service Providers: Our entrepreneurs' forums are not intended for service providers, unless they are sponsors or invited speakers. A service provider is defined as companies/people who provide services to entrepreneurs, including legal, accounting, strategy, marketing and outsourced development services. We respectfully ask you to respect that policy, for the benefit of all.
