What is the FountainBlue vision and how will it be achieved? FountainBlue is a membership-based, for-profit, collaborative organization designed to positively impact the way people, businesses and organizations work, One Conversation, One Leader, One Organization at a Time. We do this by creating and supporting communities of high-impact, high-integrity, clean energy, high tech and life science decision-makers, by providing networking and educational opportunities so these key stakeholders can meet face to face, and by otherwise facilitating connections between key leaders for mutual business benefit.
How would FountainBlue like to impact the way businesses work? FountainBlues goal is to foster organizational and personal leadership at all levels which is more empowering, more collaborative, more results-oriented. We believe that making strategic connections and learning from quality leaders are integral to achieving this goal and act accordingly.
What does FountainBlue do, specifically?
To achieve the goal of fostering leadership through networking and education, we:
·Create and support communities of clean energy, high tech and life science decision-makers in Silicon Valley and beyond.
·Produce monthly events in Silicon Valley, gathering panels of leaders.
·Connect key stakeholders: investors, entrepreneurs, executives, service providers. We do this in person at our events, and also make strategic e-mail introductions.
·Communicate regularly to this community to: o Share learnings/notes from our events, covering business topics of interest to them. o Partner with organizations across the valley to promote their events of interest to the community. o Feature books on business trends and best practices.
·Write books about key learnings from the community, on the topics of networking, leadership, clean revolution, and entrepreneurship.
FountainBlue is a distinctive name. What does it mean? The Fountain stands for something solid, strong, established and firm. The Blue stands for innovation, verve and flexibility. Since it is our opinion that both the Fountain and the Blue are necessary for short-term and long-term success for individuals and for organizations, we focus on bringing the two together. Hence our name and activities.

About FountainBlue Events
How do FountainBlue events stand out? Based on feedback from our attendees, our events stand out because they:
Feature quality topics facilitated by proven industry experts
Attract a quality, cross-role, cross-industry audience of fellow decision-makers
Balance professionalism with familiarity with the on-site communications during the event
Focus on providing value to the attendees, to the speakers, to the sponsors, to the community, and to others in the larger Silicon Valley and beyond.
In addition, again based on feedback from our attendees, we are skilled at the execution of the events:
·FountainBlues relevant and timely programs feature industry professionals who have been there and done that, yet are willing to share their expertise as well as their challenges with wisdom and humility.
·FountainBlue takes great care to provide thorough communications throughout the event: from the invitations to the confirmations to on-site program and follow-up notes.
·FountainBlues on-site management of the event ensure that the agenda is planned and flows smoothly, that the program meets the needs of the audience, and that each participant benefits from participation.
·FountainBlues follow-up notes provide value beyond the event.
·FountainBlues attendee list encourages ongoing communications while also respecting the privacy of the attendees.
Why are service providers not invited to entrepreneurs forums? For our entrepreneurs forums, FountainBlue limits service providers to financial sponsors and invited speakers to ensure that the majority of attendees are entrepreneurs and that the event will focus on helping entrepreneurs run their businesses. This policy also support our sponsors by not allowing competing service providers to attend. But mostly, we are honoring the request of our community members, who do not wish to be aggressively sold to, and are therefore filtering which service providers will be allowed to attend.
