FountainBlue's High Tech Program Advisory Board

The richness and relevance of our programs in a broad range of topics is largely due to the volunteers who have designed programs, recruited panelists, provided outreach, and so much more, for past and upcoming events. As program advisory board members, they:

  • Assist in developing the topics and themes for our programs, and nominate and recruit speakers;
  • Serve as ambassadors for FountainBlue and the series and/or program before the event by spreading the word, during the event in connecting people with each other, and following the event to solicit feedback and help make program and process improvements for the next event;
  • Work with partner organizations in support of their programs and events;
  • Stimulate thinking and conversation between events;
  • Make connections between people between events; and
  • Generally assist in advancing the sub-industry within and outside FountainBlue and the Silicon Valley.

We would like to recognize and acknowledge members of our high tech program advisory board and thank them for their contributions to the community.

Linda Holroyd, FoundersSpace Trusted Advisor

As a serial entrepreneur who has worked with dozens of start-ups and larger technology and life science organizations across the valley, Linda Holroyd is a trusted adviser to founders who are members of FoundersSpace.

FoundersSpace welcomes other veteran entrepreneurs, angels, VCs, attorneys, CFOs, investment bankers, and other top professionals with valuable experience and knowledge to share to also join as advisers, thereby providing assistance to tens of thousands of founders now and into the future.

Founders Space brings together founders, angels, VCs, attorneys, CFOs and other experts to answer the questions all founders have. Our mission is to connect founders with advisors and help startups get what they need to make it to the next level.  Whenever an advisor answers a question for one founder, the answer is shared with the entire community and preserved in our database.  This way the advisor is actually providing assistance to tens of thousands of founders now and into the future.

Founders benefit by tapping into a select group of angels, VCs, CFOs, attorneys and other top Silicon Valley influencers.  And our advisors benefit by forming relationships with our founders.  Our goal is to provide a simple, yet powerful, way to access information and each other. Hacker Dojo is a community center in Mountain View which is about 1/3rd coworking space, 1/3rd events venue, and 1/3rd a big social living room.  In the spirit of DevHouse, we're creating a physical community space for hackers and thinkers on the Peninsula in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a location for events, lectures, parties, BarCamps, DevHouses, LAN parties, hackathons, knitting circles, tinkering, brainstorming, coworking,  etc. While Hacker Dojo is technically a "members only" private club, we welcome visitors to many of our lectures and classes, and invite people to use the space on a drop-in basis as well. It is not a residential space.  The Dojo is a community space first and foremost - this means that the focus of the layout and activities is to lend itself to be a useful place to throw classes, host parties, brainstorm, and hang out.
