Franchise Opportunities for

FountainBlue's When She Speaks Series

At FountainBlue, we believe that the best way to forge positive change is one conversation, one leader, one organization at a time. We also believe that the best way to make connections with the right quality people is in person, face to face. We therefore produce monthly events for clean energy, high tech and life science entrepreneurs as well as for executives and women leaders.

Our When She Speaks Women in Leadership Series has generated a lot of interest and momentum within Silicon Valley and beyond. As we know that the topics we cover monthly are of interest to women and men around the world, we have provided opportunities to franchise our series to your region.


Requirements for Each Franchise:

  • Each potential organizer must contact us at info@fountainblue.biz to inquire about franchising opportunities in your geographic location. We will coordinate with you over e-mail and over the phone to ensure the right fit. We are looking for organizers who are: well connected in their local business community, experienced with producing events, and have a track record of ongoing customer service.
  • Should the organizer be invited to participate in a trial period of producing When She Speaks events, FountainBlue will provide programming, outreach and marketing support the organizers for the first two month trial period for a nominal fee.
  • If we decide on both sides to continue the program after this initial period, we will charge a nominal franchise fee of $100 a month per location, for permission to use our 'When She Speaks' name and for ongoing marketing, program and outreach support, as needed.

Benefits for Each When She Speaks Franchise:

  • Program support - FountainBlue provides the topics for each of our monthly series and access to notes from past events to help in organizing speakers and content for the current event. In addition, FountainBlue may be able to assist in recruiting speakers for these events as well.
  • Marketing support - FountainBlue will promote franchise events in its invitations and on its web site.
  • Partner support - FountainBlue may be able to establish partnerships with associations and corporate partners in your local geographic location.
  • Other support - FountainBlue may be able to assist with other marketing, outreach, program, and other needs as well.

Congratulations to Bobbie LaPorte, RAL Associates, for launching FountainBlue's first When She Speaks franchise in January 2008! We are pleased to report a very successful launch and a very successful ongoing program.
